Mr. Kulchawik is an internationally known and respected professional in the trade show industry globally. With more than 44 years of experience, Mr. Kulchawik began his own consulting firm three years ago to provide advice and knowledge to exhibitors and exhibit suppliers to assist in maximizing their trade show investments, especially for international markets. Internationally acclaimed for his consultative advice to the $100 billion dollar trade show industry, Mr. Kulchawik has also written a book, “Trade Shows from One Country to the Next,” a review of venues, regulations, exhibit styles, labor issues, and cultural differences when exhibiting in any of 45 different countries. Mr. Kulchawik became involved in the trade show industry directly after graduating from the Southern Illinois University- Carbondale with a degree in design, studying under Buckminster Fuller. His success has been due to his ability to engage others, remain open-minded, and trustworthy. He intends to use these qualities to perpetuate the growth of the industry internationally and connect exhibitors with the best partners as companies expand their global reach. Two of the most defining moments of his career was becoming president of EDPA (Exhibit Designer & Producers Association), and the first American president of IFES (International Federation of Exposition Services) headquartered in Brussels. Additionally, his work has been recognized by numerous expo industry awards, including the EDPA- Hazel Hays Award and the IFES- Roger Taurant Award. As a testament to his commitment to the world of face to face marketing, he maintains affiliations with UFI, the International Trade Association, the Chicago Chamber of Commerce, and the Hong Kong Trade Association to unify the world of trade through trade show marketing.
