Mr. Murphy is a concert producer and promoter who has been involved in the business for more than 40 years. He is a very successful promoter who masters negotiating with the managers, and who has been credited with bringing his clients to more than 8 million people. As the president of West Coast, Mr. Murphy is responsible for providing a hands-on approach for the offices in Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco, and promoting a variety of music tours.

Throughout his career, he has been involved in promoting Katie Perry, and has been instrumental in the success of many stars such as Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.  He owned his own company, Avalon Attraction, from 1977 until 1998 when he sold the company to SFX entertainment, which was spun off to Live Nation. Mr. Murphy then moved to Goldenvoice-AEG-Live in 2011 where he is handling the West Coast.

Mr. Murphy prides himself on being transparent and not shying away from challenges. He always enjoyed the music business and feels privileged to live out his passion. He attributes his success to being a straightforward concert promoter, and to being located on the West Coast in Los Angeles where there is a big market.
