Dallas, TX, October 11, 2016, Greg Moore, Immediate Past President (Retired) of the Greater Dallas Advisory Board/ Texas Diversity Council, has been recognized by Elite American Executives, for dedication, achievement and leadership in diversity and inclusion.

Mr. Moore’s first experience in the concept of diversity came at the beginning of his career when he witnessed women and minorities receiving significantly less praise, engagement and compensation than his male counterparts for equal work. Inspired to make an impact, he dedicated the next three decades to working in diversity leadership and nonprofit management, with a focus on diversity and inclusion. In his career, he served as chair and co-chair of Raytheon Company North Texas diversity council for more than 20 years. During this time, he worked directly with employee resource groups and local business leaders and served as a facilitator for diversity action plans throughout the community. Notably, Mr. Moore served for three terms as president of the Greater Dallas Advisory Board for the Texas Diversity Council, where he was incredibly involved. Due to Mr. Moore’s expertise, he was selected to join the Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau Diversity and Inclusion Committee and the University of Texas at Dallas Community Diversity Advisory Council; both community diversity groups thrived during this period. Additionally, Mr. Moore was asked to join the North Texas Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America Leadership Council after participating for five seasons in the Team Challenge Endurance Training Program.

To support his career in diversity program management, Mr. Moore took on opportunities that gave him a competitive edge in the world of business. He became a certified Raytheon Six Sigma Lead Expert, and supported the SAS Airborne Processors product line in McKinney, TX, and El Segundo, CA for five years, with multi-million dollar cash savings results. He is a graduate of the Leadership Plano, TX program and served on its executive board for one year. He has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, and completed 30-plus hours of MBA work from Southern Methodist University and the University of Texas at Dallas.

In recognition of his professional excellence for diversity and inclusion, Mr. Moore has been the recipient of many awards. Most notably, he earned the 2008 Santiago Rodriguez Diversity Award from the Hispanic Engineers National Achievement Award Conference, the 2004 Emerald Honors in Research Science Award for Affirmative Action, the 2012 Texas Diversity Council Diversity CHAMPION Award and the 2014 Texas Diversity Council DiversityFIRST Award. Looking ahead, Mr. Moore plans to enjoy his retirement while continuing to serve in volunteer capacities for community diversity programs, and to partner with the NW Arkansas Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America chapter in establishing a leadership council.

Greg Moore was originally selected for inclusion in EliteAMERICAN Executives in 2015. We are proud to be featuring Mr. Moore again in EliteAMERICAN Executives for 2016.
