Mr. Gerhardt is responsible for making a difference in so many people’s lives after opening the doors in 2007 to the Transformations Treatment Center in Florida. Concentrating on the detoxification and rehabilitation for victims of drug and alcohol abuse, the center offers individualized and attentive programs that focus on helping people overcome the obstacle of addiction in their lives. To ensure a productive service, Mr. Gerhardt oversees a staff of highly trained therapists. These therapists and staff members treat clients based on the 12-step program, the traditional Christian approach, holistic methods, and customized programs geared toward every client’s specific needs.

It was at the request of a friend that Mr. Gerhardt opened the center. The center has commission on accreditation of rehabilitation facilities from the Joint Commission. In addition to its customized program tracts, the facility also has a first response program, case management services, weekly alumni meetings, life skills and recreation programs, an on-site recording studio, urinalysis laboratory and provides support for family and friends with weekend visits and therapy sessions. In 1981, Mr. Gerhardt earned a Bachelor of Science in aeronautical science from Embry-Riddle University. In addition, he earned his Airline Transport Pilot Certification through the Federal Aviation Administration. 

His career experience is significant and varied, including his current role as President of Pinnacle Testing, Inc., Key DMS, Inc., and Summit Detox Inc. Mr. Gerhardt is also the CEO and Chief Business Development Manager for Geopolymer Solutions, LLC where he contributed to the development of Cold Fusion Concrete. His earlier professional experience involves 25 years working at US Airways, Inc. Geopolymer Solution’s proprietary concrete has a 90 percent reduction of the carbon footprint of Portland cement. It is expected to be the next generation of geopolymer concrete as it is known for its high strength and resistance to chemicals and freeze thaw. In addition to his business ventures, Mr. Gerhardt supports various local church organizations and endeavors to help others as his career progresses.
