Sewickley, PA, February 17, 2016, Raymond B. White, Former Chief Executive Officer of The Watson Institute, has been recognized by Elite American Executives, for dedication, achievement and leadership in financial management and strategic methodology.
For nearly two decades, Mr. White served as the chief executive officer of The Watson Institute. Based outside of Pittsburgh, the institute is best known for providing specialized educational programs for children between the ages of 3 and 21 who have been diagnosed with autism, cerebral palsy, brain injuries and neurological impairments. In his former position, Mr. White tirelessly worked to ensure that the institute provided best practices to all of the children it serves. He was able to do this by utilizing his skills in financial management and strategic methodology, which allowed the institute to meet and exceed its goals.
Mr. White holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from West Virginia University, and completed coursework in marketing management at Columbia University. Additionally, he was certified by the Insurance Society of New York in 1971. Throughout the course of his career, Mr. White has maintained numerous affiliations of varying capacities, and currently serves as the president of The Pittsburgh Philharmonic. He is also the board president of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the West Virginia University Alumni Association. Looking toward the future, Mr. White intends to pursue new business ventures in the area of finance. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, traveling and spending time with his family.
