Mrs. Morris always had a desire to help others and has dedicated her career to working for nonprofit and social services companies. She has been serving on the board of directors for the General Federation of Women’s Clubs for the past 14 years and has become an integral part of the nonprofit’s success. General Federation of Women’s Clubs is an international women’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. The organization’s roots are traced back to 1868 and provides community services, including support of the arts, preservation of natural resources, advancement of education, promotion of healthy lifestyles, and encouragement of civic involvement.Mrs. Morris is a highly driven professional who spends most of her time conducting seminars. She enjoys encouraging and motivating women, while bettering her communities. In October of 2013, Mrs. Morris received the Jennie June Award for New York State, which chooses only one woman from each state for the award. Aside from her work at General Federation of Women’s Clubs, Mrs. Morris has been serving as the chairwoman of the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Central Committee since 1999.Mrs. Morris attributes her 53 years of professional success to her hard work and dedication. Looking toward the future, she intends to continue growing professionally. Mrs. Morris earned a bachelor’s degree in home economics at Syracuse University.
