Jim Perkins is the president of AMCE, a grocery store chain with stores up and down the East Coast. Mr. Perkins has 32 years of professional experience and got involved in the food retail industry when he was 19 years old. He started bagging groceries, stayed to learn the business and worked his way up to his current position. Well versed in business operations, he is responsible for overseeing the operations of 112 stores in Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Mr. Perkins also draws on his extensive industry knowledge and strong skill set to handle sales, and manage store pricing, store renovation, new store construction and purchasing. His goal is to always provide customers with the highest quality services and products in a welcoming environment. Mr. Perkins understands how crucial customer appreciation is to the success of any business, and believes that if a leader takes care of employees the employees we return the favor by taking care of customers. He attributes his success to making good decisions, mentoring and coaching, and assisting others in reaching their full potential. Looking to further develop the ACME brand, Mr. Perkins plans to assist in mergers, acquisitions and turnarounds for the company in the coming years.
