PRAIRIE VILLAGE, KS, April 3, 2014, Patricia A. Parker, a retired consultant, has been recognized by Elite American Executives for dedication, achievements and leadership in business consulting.

Ms. Parker dedicated 27 years to the field of consulting and assisted countless clients with their accounting needs. Her firm specialized in providing programming accounting services, and she spent her days counseling individuals to realize their own potential, analyzing programs, consulting, maintaining the ledger, overseeing accounts receivable, processing payroll, and programming accounting services.

Ms. Parker started her career by asking her employer if she could work in the operations room over the holiday vacation. When she moved to Kansas City, she was able to take a job as a computer operator. She has held positions as a programmer, manager, analyst, consultant and instructor. Her varied background enabled her to work with a diverse group of clients and assist them with their issues. She prided herself on always giving her clients honest assessments and building strong, trusting relationships with them. Ms. Parker attributes her success to her hard work and loyalty, honesty, and faithfulness.

She completed coursework in accounting and mathematics at Metropolitan Community College, and dedicated time to serving in executive positions for industry organizations. Ms. Parker was the former president and former secretary of Computer Professionals Unlimited, and former treasurer of Data Processing Managers Association (now the Association of Information Technology Professionals). Now retired, Ms. Parker spends her time giving back to the community. She hopes to continue making a difference in people’s lives for years to come.
