Mr. Flynn entered the accounting business nearly 30 years ago upon the influence of his father, H. Welton Flynn, who established the firm in 1949. “I learned 90 percent [of the business] from my father and 10 percent from school,” he claims. Early on, he realized that, in order to garner success, he needed to be patient and consistent when working with his clients. In his position, he is tasked with managing tax services, handling accounting, auditing and consulting services, and overseeing all financial services. Additionally, he consults on income tax and represents his clients when necessary.

A graduate of Regis University, summa cum laude with a GPA of 3.83, he earned an MBA from Regis University in 2006. He also holds a dual bachelor’s degree from California State University, and he was valedictorian at St. Ignatius College Preparatory in 1971. To keep abreast of the ever-changing industry, Mr. Flynn is affiliated with the San Francisco Accounting Organization.
