Buoyed by a passion for marine transportation, Vic Angoco has thrived in the field of logistics for more than two decades. He currently serves as senior vice president of the Pacific Division of Matson Navigation, a leading shipping and logistics company. Known for his expertise in operations, sales and customer relationship management, Mr. Angoco is charged with overseeing the company’s operations in the Pacific region. This entails managing 300 employees in Hawaii, Guam and Micronesia, supervising the movement of cargo onto the fleet of ships and barges from the West Coast, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Prior to assuming his current position in 2006, Mr. Angoco served as vice president of sales at Young Brothers, Limited. He previously worked for Matson Navigation as manager of sales and customer service, for American President Lines, Ltd. as marine manager, and for Sea-Land Services, Inc. as marine coordinator. Proud to have built an enduring career in the field that he loves, Mr. Angoco attributes his success to hard work and to the support that he receives from his wife and colleagues.

Respected by his peers, Mr. Angoco has been appointed to the boards of both The Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii and the Better Business Bureau. He previously sat on the board of directors of the Guam Chamber of Commerce. Also an active member of his community, Mr. Angoco maintains affiliation with the U.S. Coast Guard Foundation and serves on the advisory council of United Service Organizations. He is a generous supporter of a number of nonprofits, including Aloha United Way, Pacific Resources for Education and Learning, and the Mount Carmel School Endowment Foundation in his native Guam.

Ms. Angoco earned a Bachelor of Science in business management, with a minor in industrial engineering, in 1989 from Oregon State University and completed secondary education at Father Dueñas Memorial School in Guam. Away from work, he enjoys golfing and spending time with his children.
