Ted Moroz is the President of The Beer Store, a distribution firm and beer retailer. Specializing in operations management, Mr. Moroz oversees a senior management team, which includes the vice presidents of retail, logistics, finance, information technology and human resources departments. He is also in charge of bringing people together to create viable, efficient and friendly retail and distribution channels through employee engagement and public stakeholder support. Mr. Moroz started with the company as a partner while he was going to school. When he graduated, he applied as a full time employee with the renowned beer distributor of more than 350 brands from 80 brewers from around the world, and he got on a great roll. He began in administration and worked his way toward inventory control, then made advancements toward human resources, to finance, retail operations and soon thereafter to logistics where he became VP of those areas, and later, the President of the company. He enjoys working with people, and getting to coach and motivate them, which enables him to build a great team and a good work environment. Mr. Moroz earned a Master of Political Science from Carlton University in Ottawa, Ontario, and he has since remained abreast of trends and developments as a member of the Retail Counsel of Canada. He also supports a number of worthy causes; he volunteers for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada. Mr. Moroz hopes to take the corporation to new heights of excellence and hand it off to the next generation for the years to come. In his spare time, Mr. Moroz takes pleasure in golfing, skiing and traveling.
