Cambridge, MA, February 11, 2011, Sharon Larsen, Lead Quality Engineer for ETEX, has been recognized by Elite American Executives for dedication, leadership and achievements in quality assurance.
With 22 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Ms. Larsen is best noted for her expertise in compliance management. She functions as lead quality engineer for ETEX, a medical device manufacturer. In this capacity, she oversees change management, reviews projects, and verifies protocols, directives and standard operating procedures.
Ms. Larsen discovered her calling in pharmaceuticals on a field trip to Eli Lilly and Company. She has expanded her knowledge of the industry since, striving always to understand what she could and being open to learning from others. Over the course of her career, she has discovered that everyone has a contribution to make and that the more one learns, the more realizes that one does not know anything. She attributes her success to this open-mindedness, as well as to her enjoyment of variety and her ability to stay updated on the latest industry developments.
An alumna of Greenville College, Ms. Larsen holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology, with a minor in chemistry. She is a member of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering. She aspires to venture into consulting as she moves forward in her career.
Away from her professional duties, Ms. Larsen enjoys traveling and reading. She also volunteers regularly at Northridge Church.
