With two decades of professional experience, Ms. Sapp’s self-motivation, positive attitude and desire to learn has resulted in success. An expert in virtual remote team management, she has served as a support services manager for the last four years. Her responsibilities are many and diverse, and include overseeing 20 on-site information technology engineers who maintain customer relationships with wireless providers, and financial, enterprise, government and health care corporations. Moreover, Ms. Sapp demonstrates her knowledge of Linux administration to manage large enterprise network management solutions.
A former student of King’s College, Ms. Sapp is currently undertaking a curriculum in management growth and business interest to complement her comprehensive industry knowledge. She holds a Linux certification, a Novell certification, a certification in project management, a SCO UNIX certification, and a SCP certification. In an industry that is always changing, Ms. Sapp likes the challenge that comes along with adapting to new advancements. Ever motivated, she says of her work ethic, “The day I stop learning is the day I die.”
Ms. Sapp was recognized by her company with an excellence in service award for her tireless commitment to information technology. With an aspiration of becoming director of her company in the coming years, she lends her continuous support to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and the Girl Scouts of the United States of America, for which she is a service unit member, delegate and troop leader. By heading voluntary initiatives, she has been able to make an impact on the young people in her area. Further, she runs the children’s Bible study program for Sardis Presbyterian church. In her spare time, Ms. Sapp enjoys spending time with her family and horseback riding.
