Frisco, TX, March 1, 2011, Mike Myers, principal of MGM Asset Services, has been recognized by Elite American Executives for dedication, achievements and leadership in construction project management.
Mr. Myers celebrates 29 years of professional experience in the construction industry. Over the years, he has developed a mastery of building forensics, compliance assessments in line with Texas Accessability Standards and the Americans with Disabilities Act, and property condition and capital needs assessment consultation. As the principal, he is responsible for directing the scope of capital expenditure projects for MGM Asset Services, as well as managing them. Primarily, he focuses on multifamily and senior properties. Additionally, he conducts inspections and engages in photographic documentation.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Myers enjoyed 10 years as the vice president of construction services in the southern region at SunAmerica Affordable Housing. There, he completed more than 300 projects, sometimes up to 30 simultaneously, which greatly enhanced the company’s reputation and profit margins. Directing six regional offices, he was recognized in 2003 with the SunStar Award for Excellence. Mr. Myers also worked for Faithful and Gould as its Dallas regional manager. As a result of his adept management skills, he was able to more than double the office’s annual sales from $15 million to $40 million. He attributes his success to his dedication to excellence, hard work and integrity.
Mr. Myers holds a Bachelor of Science in construction management from John Brown University. As a supplement to his education, he is a certified aging-in-place specialist and a graduate of the Texas Accessibility Academy. Active within his professional community, he is a member of the Construction Financial Management Association, the Construction Management Association of America, the U.S. Green Building Council, The Construction Specifications Institute and the International Code Council. In his spare time, he volunteers with Boy Scouts of America and Habitat for Humanity International.
Driven by a lifelong interest in construction projects, Mr. Myers intends to continue learning and impart his knowledge to young people in the industry.
