Mr. Levesque, a native of Sarnia, grew up in the small town of Petrolia, Ontario – the birthplace of the oil and gas industry in North America – and like his forefathers, has been working to blaze a path through uncharted waters. He was inspired by his father to pursue his current career path, as a passion for all things construction-related was embedded in him by his dad at an early age. He attended Lambton College in Sarnia, where he earned an Associate Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology. He later attended Wayne State University, the University of Guelph, University of Waterloo, University of Toronto, and the University of Upper State New York with adjunct studies at MIT and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Mr. Levesque has lent his talents to numerous world-renowned businesses, and he continues to strive for excellence in his every endeavor. While serving as a principle design engineer for General Electric – Power Systems, he had been an integral element of teams that had constructed more than 2000MW of wind power in North America before he was 30 years old . ESI was originally based upon the LED lighting designs that were developed by Mr. Levesque and his business partner. The company continues to thrive under his direction and leadership efforts, and he endeavors to maintain the company’s standard of excellence that has been preserved since its establishment in 1994.

Mr. Levesque has garnered a reputation of distinction over the course of a successful career that has spanned nearly three decades for his outstanding efforts. His was named ACE’s Best New Company from 2001 to 2003, and he was named IPC’s Designer of the Year in 2006. He was also named a UNSF Supplier of the Year on two occasions, granted a Premiers Award for Engineering Excellence in Ontario for 2007, and named a Professional of the Year in Engineering and Energy Systems by Cambridge Who’s Who in 2011. Mr. Levesque remains abreast of trends and developments in engineering as a member of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians & Technologists, Professional Engineers Ontario, Professional Engineers China, the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and the Surface Mount Technology Association. Engineered Systems Incorporated also continues to maintain and develop its research and development capabilities and has full electronic development labs in Windsor, Hong Kong and Shanghai, China.
