Middle River, Minnesota | October 20, 2010 | Jody Lunke, co-owner of Lunke’s, Inc., has been recognized by Elite American Executives for her experience, accomplishments and leadership in the excavation industry.

As the owner of Lunke’s, Inc., Ms. Lunke is responsible for overseeing excavation services including river and ditch cleaning, dyke building, farming 2,000 acres of land and maintaining a 50-foot reach back hoe, three bulldozers and seven trucks. Her husband is a co-owner of the company and she previously worked in claims. She enjoys the opportunity of learning the business alongside her husband and working with him to run a successful business. The success of Lunke’s, Inc. is due to their quality of work, attention to detail and dedication to customer satisfaction.

While running Lunke’s, Inc., Ms. Lunke is a full-time nursing student and has been in the nursing field since 1998. A licensed practical nurse, she became a registered nurse in 2002. She has gained experience working on the medical/surgical floor of a hospital as well as in an assisted living facility with the elderly. She attributes her success to her hard work, people management skills and compassion toward her patients.

Ms. Lunke is currently pursuing a master’s degree in nursing at North Dakota State University. She is a member of the American Nurses Association and was recognized by the United Who’s Who for 2003-2004. In her spare time, she volunteers for the local hospice center and the Nazareth Lutheran Church. After obtaining a master’s degree, she hopres to work as a nurse practitioner.
