Harlan W. Milton is the Vice President of Technical Operations for The CW Television Network. In his role, Mr. Milton is responsible for overseeing a 24-hour, seven-day-per-week program feed with syndicated and original programming in 110 markets, delivering digital media distribution solutions, and managing integrated record coders, audio video switches, and commercial servers to ensure all programming and commercials are flawless, and on air at the appropriate time.
In addition to these commitments, Mr. Milton maintains the responsibility of distributing backup remotes to the CW’s many devoted consumers, handling troubleshooting initiatives, and preparing and allocating repaired equipment. He also collects commercials from local affiliates and digitizes with IP satellite. Over the course of a career that has spanned nearly three decades, Mr. Milton has sharpened a skill set in technical operations management, and he continues to strive to reach the pinnacle of professional success by scaling new heights and achieving growth.
Mr. Milton coordinated the largest deployment of digital television multicast technology in America while simultaneously managing the technical transition from WB Television Network to The CW Television Network. His endeavors in aiding The CW Television Network and the WB Television Networks in their evolution include his contribution of continued support for WB affiliates. Mr. Milton feels that he has been able to flourish in his current capacity due to his voracious curiosity and an innate passion for the television industry.
