LIHUE, HI, August 20, 2012, Ezra R. Kanoho, Principal of Kanoho Consulting Service, has been recognized by Elite American Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in legislative consulting.

Mr. Kanoho, a member of the Democratic Party, was a member in the Hawaii State House of Representatives of the Hawaii State Legislature since 1987. He represented the 15th representative district which includes the Lihue and Koloa areas on the island of Kauai in the state of Hawaii. Mr. Kanoho announced his retirement from the legislature after the 2006 session. He currently serves as the principal of Kanoho Consulting Service, supporting and attracting legislature applicable to projects with which he is involved.

With more than 23 years of professional experience under his belt, Mr. Kanoho consults on legislative processes which pertain to education and energy issues. He is a recipient of a myriad of honors and accolades, which he has received for his outstanding services over the years. These include the Annual Distinguished Service Award, the 2004 O`o Award, as granted by the Hawaiian Chamber of Commerce, and the 2011 Annual Distinguished Service Kaanohi Award. He feels that his success as a professional has stemmed from his trustworthiness, respectful nature, and ability to be honest in his dealings with others.

Mr. Kanoho remains abreast of industry trends and developments as a member of several organizations. He has been the director of Ho`ola Lahui Hawai`i since 2007, and he is also the Director of SLKI/Kawaikini School, a position he has maintained since 2006. In addition to these positions, Mr. Kanoho also assumes Deacon and Trustee positions with Lihue First Church, and he has held these titles since 1977. In looking ahead toward a bright future, Mr. Kanoho hopes to continue consulting for nonprofit organizations and charter schools on community health and education.
