Danny R. Varney is the President of the Exchange/Cedar Creek Waterline Association, a community development association specializing in environmental work for the community and improvement of the life of the residents of the area, many of whom are farm families. Mr. Varney is an expert in business, who looks for grants through the state or federal government to start construction on the waterline, and oversees 17 miles of 6-inch waterline and high-speed Internet to service 184 families. Previously, Mr. Varney worked for the United States Postal Service starting as a letter carrier then to an administrative position for a total of 17 years. As of June 1, 2013, Mr. Varney has been appointed Assistant Director of the Braxton County Development Authority. He attributes his success to passion for business, enjoyment of working with people, and motivation.
