Ms. McDaniel has nurtured an ever-emergent and versatile skill set over the course of a career that has spanned nearly 30 years, and she specializes in one-on-one interactions, budgeting, marketing and training. In her current capacity, she is responsible for overseeing 10,000 units, consisting of conventional residential, tax credit, and senior properties, supervising property rehabilitation and new constructions, and managing properties in the field. She also works closely with managers and staff to maintain the proper management of all properties.

Ms. McDaniel has been in the apartment management industry for about 30 years, beginning as a leasing agent and working her way up the chain to her current position. She has worked under the same group of owners for 16 years. She has held many positions through the years leasing, assisting managers, bookkeeping, property site managing, multi-site property managing, supervising and has been a regional vice president for 14 years. Almost 30 years ago, Ms. McDaniel moved Indianapolis, Indiana from Houston, and found that there were no openings for bank tellers, and became motivated to utilize her talents in another field throughout her job search. She applied to an advertisement in the local paper for a leasing consultant position for an apartment property with no experience necessary. She fell in love with the industry and never left it. She attributes her success to having worked with great employers and great employees, and offering the same level of mentoring to her own staff. She also attributes success to good old fashion hard work.
