Resource Specialist and Owner of the Resource Centre, Catherine Von Der Hude-Georgas, specializes in the creation of architecture and design of resource libraries. She helped to create one of the first digital industry websites for interior designers, to research, select, and specify a combination of interior architecture and interior design manufacturer product information. This website, known as Worldo, offered major manufacturers products organized from print to digital materials organized by common categories. Ms. Von Der Hude-Georgas was formerly the vice president of the Resource Directors’ Association, as well as the co-author of its website. She was commissioned by Kohn Pedersen Fox to edit, redevelop and organize three resource libraries from shelf to a digital medium. Ms. Von Der Hude-Georgas believes that architecture is the symbol of civilization and interior design sets the tone because all art is a symbol of an era. Interior design expresses an individual’s taste and image.
