Brenda Jean Langea-McCune is an Office Manager for the International Import Department of the United Parcel Service of America, Inc. In her capacity, Ms. Langea utilizes a vast expertise in research, corporate complaints, logistics and containment of damage in order to ensure that the department is being effectively run. She manages import operations, works with the United States and Canadian customs regarding parcel shipping to the United States, and enforces regulations and compliance with all countries. She is also responsible for working with over 70 brokerages, overseeing three shift offices, and training staff across the country. Ms. Langea is a former automotive technical writer for the U.S. Army and Marines, having served in these positions after she left the Air Force. Ms. Langea served in the Air Force for 10 years where she received various awards and ended her military career as a staff sergeant. She utilized the training and practical experience she received to obtain her current position with UPS. She has an entrepreneurial spirit and has represented Avon for 19 years. She developed an interest in baking 28 years ago, and eventually began baking customized wedding cakes. She is a multifaceted person who takes pride in her work and always strives to exceed expectations. Most notably, Ms. Langea has received a Letter of Commendation for her exceptional efforts from President Ronald Reagan. Attributing her success to sheer knowledge, strong problem solving skills, and a solid ability to efficiently implement change, Ms. Langea looks forward to growing in a role what will enable her to maintain or exceed positive productivity.
