With a 15-year career in the U.S. Army, Mr. Burke has naturally excelled during his tenure at KBR, Inc., a contractor for the armed forces. He transitioned from a position as an operations group leader at Target, where he deftly managed 40 direct reports during the daily loading of consumer merchandise destined for 54 retail stores. Utilizing this experience, he transitioned to leading a four-person information fusion cell at KBR, Inc., as an operations coordinator. His superiors noted his aptitude in leadership and promoted him to the lead action officer for KBR-Baghdad’s regional headquarters and the Army’s 3rd Infantry Division. Following that position, he was elevated to deputy director of logistics. Having proved his expertise in multi-functional supply chain management and logistics support services, Mr. Burke became the director of logistics, a position which he has held for the past two years. He currently serves as the project leader for the North American Government & Defense Business Unit Standard Modules of Excellence program.  

Recently, Mr. Burke completed an MBA in international business and supply chain management from Northeastern University to complement a previously obtained MPA in homeland security, with a focus on policy and coordination. He attributes his success to his decisiveness, persistence, and willingness to continue learning.
